“What's left to say, that's not already been said before? I don't feel hope anymore. What's left to say? Let it fade away. I gave up on you long before you gave up on yourself."
Great song, bitter lyrics. I won’t even try to justify the meaning of the lyrics because it’s just pure bitterness - not to be confused with anger. I think anger very rarely comes with good intentions, but it’s possible that anger can be a good thing. Bitterness, on the other hand, is different because bitterness is anger gone rotten. Bitterness is the result of letting anger control you, and it’s a sign that you’ve allowed yourself to be numb - no longer open to others opinions or explanations.

But, lyrics aren’t everything and I appreciate their raw emotion. I haven’t heard much of this band yet, but this is definitely a song I’ll be listening to more often. From what I can tell, they’re very similar to Wage War which is a good sign. I’ve been listening to lots of Wage War for a while now, I probably know most of their lyrics, but I’ve been looking for another band that’s similar to them and Like Moths To Flames may be a band worth listening to.
