What I'm Learning.
One cool thing I learned at work this past week.
How to print stamps online! It was hard to figure out (or maybe I’m slow) but it was super helpful once I got it.
One cool thing I learned outside of work this past week.
Knocking out tasks right away is much better than waiting to get them done. (Even if it’s a matter of minutes.) Waiting too long builds up too much worry and guilt.
How I'm Creating Value.
One example of how I created value.
I learned more about Wordpress and I’m more comfortable with it now. (I’ve always hated Wordpress but shh it’s a secret don’t tell them.)
What I’m doing to become a better version of myself overall.
Speaking up in situations where normally I wouldn’t.
Praxis Wednesday Re-cap.

Principles and persuasion with Erica Smith.
My favorite highlight.
Keep it simple. You might think that using big words and saying long phrases helps you in persuading others. Usually, it’s the other way around because it shows you’re confident.
My biggest takeaway.
As it was said in the call, asking for discounts usually works. Using the tips of persuasion that Erica spoke of might work in day-to-day scenarios.
How I’m going to apply that takeaway to my life.
The exercise was to persuade someone else of something we believe the other person should do, then, provide feedback. The feedback I received was simply that I need to be more confident in my abilities, and the rest will fall into place.
