Showing Both Sides

Lately I’ve been getting ahead with my Praxis work, so I decided to do something out of the ordinary with my extra time. You saw yesterday I created a recap video for the first week of Module 4. Now that I have a little extra time, I decided to make a blooper video.
At first, it was mainly for myself and it didn’t cross my mind to share it with anyone. It was just for the fun of trying something new. But as I was editing, I began to think about how it could be valuable - if not to others, at least to myself.

For one thing (and I’ve written on this in the past) I think it’s important to laugh. I especially think it’s important to laugh at yourself from time to time. Boy did I do a lot of that today! But I also think there’s something to be said about showing both sides of my Praxis journey. Heck yeah it’s been a challenge. Heck yeah it’s pushed me to grow. I’m becoming more professional, but I’m also learning to have fun with it. So even when I’m recording my progress, I think it’s good to open up and show both sides - professional and personal. I shared the video with my cohort to give them a laugh, to encourage them, and to be more transparent with them. (Hopefully it worked.)

So here’s the video, enjoy. It’s goofy.
