Each day, I sit down to do what I'm doing right now. I write. Every day. No matter what. Typically, I do this at night when I'm gathering my thoughts and reflecting on the day. I write about the highlights unless I have some other idea that's better. But regardless, I write.
It’s been about a year since some big changes started occurring in my life. A year ago I started Praxis, plugged into a large community, and took on challenges I never thought I could accomplish. I learned what it was like to travel far and explore new places. I turned 18 and began a new chapter of my life.
Psalms has been one of my favorite books of the Bible for such a long time. It's raw. It's intimate. It's real. People may think the Bible is a long list of rules when in reality a lot of it is just other people pouring their hearts out to Jesus.
When I was little, I would spend a lot of time sitting on the couch and looking out the window to daydream. I was a very imaginative (and introverted) child so some of my favorite memories were made staring out that window.
