I originally planned to do this challenge in November, but, due to the lack of a laptop, I had to wait until this month to start. On the bright side, this is a great way to start the new year. My goal is to do at least one challenging project each month, and in that case, it works out perfectly!
Day 1: I got to spend New Year's Day with a fellow Praxian from Minnesota. It was awesome, and it was easily one of the most memorable days I've experienced. She had never seen the ocean before (ever), so we went to the Santa Monica pier, and I snapped this photo.
Day 2: I'll admit, it's not my best photo. But, it's not too bad considering it was my first night-photography shot. I have a lot to learn when it comes to taking photos at night, but this is a start. This is overlooking LA, Burbank, and Hollywood from outside of the Griffith Park Observatory. (Also, it was freezing that night.)
Day 3: "I sacrificed my lunch today so I could take this photo. You're welcome. Enjoy these palm trees." 'Nuff said.
Day 4: Getting home from work when it's already dark forces me to get creative at home.
Day 5: I took this out in my backyard and I was particularly in love with the weather that day because overcast skies are pretty uncommon in SoCal.
Day 6: My best friend gave me this light for my birthday and I've been obsessed with it ever since.
Day 7: Again, I have to force myself to be creative at home. But what's more beautiful than books?
