Change is usually scares us, but sometimes it’s refreshing. Today I spent a lot of time going back through some of the projects I’ve done for Praxis and made some adjustments. I’m updating my website, I updated my YouTube channel, and I’m working on creating a new “About Me” video. Don’t try to be perfect before you start tackling your next biggest idea or project. Don’t wait until you feel like you have it all planned out, everything’s in order, and you have all of the knowledge you need to complete it. In truth, you’ll never reach that point, so you may as well start now. If you have an idea, go for it. Waiting until you’re “all set” won’t benefit you as much as jumping into it will.
You may even find that your original idea isn’t what you thought, or maybe wasn’t needed. Maybe you need to go a totally different direction, or maybe the project is meant to become something other than you imagined. If that’s the case, there’s no way you could’ve predicted it if you waited! Don’t wait, just do it. Even if it means you’ll have to make changes along the way - that’s okay. It’s all about the process. Sharing the process out loud can be beneficial to others, but it can also motivate you to be more open to new ideas.
