Don't let missed goals de-motivate you. It's nearly the end of January, but I wouldn't be surprised if many have already given up on New Year's resolutions. I myself had a list of things I wanted to do this month. Did I get all of them done? Nope. I came close, but I don't want to let the missed goals rob me of what I actually accomplished.
If a goal is meant to push you to go further in life, then it defeats its own purpose when you make a mistake. Don't let that happen, and remember to look at the things you did learn, create, or do. Not only that, but I'm sure there are also a lot of experiences you weren't expecting to have. Why overlook those just because they weren't on a to-do list? I think it's awesome to want to do great things. I think the desire for challenges is an excellent thing to have. But, I believe there are better alternatives than putting everything down in a list to check off. If it works for you to do it that way, great! If not, don't let it de-motivate you.
